Where are you located?

Bite of Joy is a home-based bakery located in the city of Sunrise. Feel free to order from me if you live in or around Broward County, FL.

Question 2

How much notice is needed before ordering?

I require 72-hours notice for simple buttercream cake orders and at least 2-weeks notice for detailed cake orders. I will also need 2- weeks notice for large orders, such as anything more than 3 dozen cupcakes or cake pops. Feel free to contact if you are unsure.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit on all orders to officially book it.

What are your prices?

My prices are listed on the pricing page. Keep in mind that the prices listed on the website are just a base price. Fondant toppers, fillings, add-ons, and detailed piping/airbrushing will add to the price.

Question 5

Can you put logos and characters on the cake?

Accepted Answer

No. In order to avoid copyright infringement, I am not able to make cakes with characters, logos, or sports teams. With that being said, you are able to provide your own toppers and I can make a themed cake by using the colors that match.

Can I send you pictures for reference?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pictures are a great source of reference. The more details, the better. I want to make sure your cake is perfect for the occasion.

Question 7

Can you print edible images?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Although I cannot make edible images with characters, sport teams, and logos -unless they are your own- due to copyright laws. I can do personal photos, but nothing inappropriate. I do not make edits to images, so send them as you want them printed.

Question 8

What if I need to cancel my order?

I require a week's notice if you need to cancel or push back your order. Remember that the 50% deposit is non-refundable to compensate for ingredients and/or equipment that was purchased to initiate the order.

It depends on my availability. Please ask me if you want delivery, I may be able to do it if you are located in or surrounding the Broward County, FL area.
